Inspiration- The Learning Centre is a platform where we support
children with learning disabilities maximize their efficiency and help
them reach their full potential. We follow state-of-art multisensory
reading and writing program approach.
A therapeutic approach to dyslexia begins with an
assessment that pinpoints a student's type of dyslexia,
its degree of severity, and set of cognitive weaknesses and
strengths.
The process may take longer. However, with insight into
the roots of dyslexia, the result will be more successful
over the lifespan of the child diagnosed with dyslexia !
Our reading enrichment program is designed to develop a love for
reading in kids along with enhancing literacy skills through diverse and engaging activities.
Our
program aims to improving vocabulary, comprehension and
critical thinking by using reading
materials from picture books, phonics
books, word recognition to chapter books specific to the
age of the child.
The diverse reading material includes a mix of fiction, non-fiction,
graphic
novels to cater to different interests. Guided reading
session encourages smooth, expressive
reading as the students
progress. Further, summarization activities with the teacher
encourages
the child to recall the story in his/her own words. We offer
offline as well as online reading
program in both English and Hindi language.
General reading tutoring or coaching can help students improve their grades by teaching or re-teaching specific skills covered in English/Language class. Problems can arise when the child does not have the underlying skills.
To grasp and retain what is being taught currently in the classroom. That
is where targeted dyslexia therapy can be helpful for an individual
child's specific needs.
We conduct specialized teacher training workshops designed to equip the teachers with the latest strategies and tools to enhance classroom efficiency. The workshop focuses on key areas such as precise instructions and effective strategies for supporting children with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
The workshop aims to provide educators a deep understanding of the challenges these children face and diverse manifestations in the classroom. Participants can learn the importance of using multisensory approach, differential learning with assistive technologies tailored to the needs of these young learners. We emphasize on the importance of an early identification, individualized education plans and supportive classroom environment. Through our workshop we aim to enhance the academic success and overall well being of the students.
